Glad these afforded you some comfort; the genre exploded during quarantine—for thoroughly understandable reasons—and I became a connoisseur.

Since I’ve spent 90+% percent of my life within a twenty-mile radius of my birthplace(1), one thing I savor is the sense of environment many of the creators go to the trouble of establishing: won’t you stay the night in a hobbit hole, or a posh penthouse, or a fairy forest?

(1) Beginning on Memorial Day weekend 2023, that abruptly changed: owing to a combination of age, family pressure, disability, family pressure, a critical illness, family pressure, the rapid gentrification of my neighborhood after my apartment complex changed hands right at the beginning of quarantine, and family pressure, I now inhabit the Gulf Coast of Florida (with most of the rest of my family.)
